‘Making the invisible impact of heat on child health visible’

The project intends to make visible the impact of heat on childhood respiratory health, and to develop interventions to ensure optimal child health in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The overall aim is to develop scalable interventions, including policy frameworks, in the environments of young children that will prevent heat-related adverse respiratory health specifically, and as a co-benefit, promote general health.

The overall aim will be achieved through a set of five key objectives.

Through achieving these key objectives, we hope there will be several important outcomes
